GENDER CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MANAGERIAL-COORDINATIVE COMPONENT OF UKRAINIAN CIVIL SERVANTS’ PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION CULTURE

The article highlights the problem of gender peculiarities of managerial-coordinative functional component of Ukrainian civil servants’ professional communication culture. The empirical study was conducted in 2020. It involved 515 civil servants with different gender identities. The study was conducted using a standardized comprehensive psychodiagnostic methodology “Culture of professional communication of civil servants”. On analyzing the results of research, it can be concluded that civil servants’ professional communication culture has significant gender differences in some indicators: among male civil servants the most common is the authoritarian focus in professional communication, and among female civil servants – the dialogical type of focus; most male civil servants have an average level of psychological literacy in professional communication, and most female civil servants have a high level; The psychological competence in professional communication of male civil servants correlates with acmeological invariants of professionalism in professional communication, but psychological competence in professional communication of female civil servants correlates with a focus in professional communication. At the same time, the culture of professional communication of male and female civil servants does not differ in such indicators as the dominance of the average level of focus in professional communication, the average level of psychological competence in professional communication, the average level of acmeological invariants of professionalism in professional communication and the average level of general indicators on the scale “Managerial-coordinative component of the culture of professional communication of civil servants”.
