The article examines the formation of a new world order through the prism of military, economic and technological factors affecting the global balance of power. The relevance of the work is due to the need to analyse changes in world politics caused by the redistribution of influence between states, the crisis of traditional international institutions and the aggravation of geopolitical contradictions. The purpose of the article is to assess the key factors determining the current redistribution of international forces and to identify possible scenarios for the development of the global order. The author uses the systemic and structural-functional approaches to analyse the interaction of military, economic and technological factors in international relations. The method of comparative analysis is used to study the effectiveness of international organisations in regulating global processes, and the forecasting method is used to characterise potential forecasts of the formation of the world system. It is found that the transformation of geopolitical centres of influence is accompanied by a weakening of traditional mechanisms for establishing international relations, increased competition for strategic resources and growing political instability. It is proved that the multipolar world order is formed through economic interdependence between key players, while the threat of global chaos is exacerbated by the crisis of international governance. It is established that military alliances remain the main stabilising factors of security, but the technological revolution and the development of new forms of influence, in particular cyber threats and information wars, are changing traditional models of international interaction. It is concluded that the effectiveness of international organisations needs to be reformed, in particular through the creation of new mechanisms for crisis management and strengthening of international law. The author substantiates the need to develop long-term strategies for reducing economic dependence on authoritarian regimes, strengthening the technological potential of states and expanding the system of security guarantees.Prospects for further research are related to the analysis of adaptation strategies of leading countries, assessment of the impact of artificial intelligence on security processes and study of the role of new economic unions in ensuring the financial stability of the global system.
