The aim of the study is to characterize adaptation as a parameter of the alternative energy sources development system. The object of the study is state regulation as a means of facilitating the enhancement of the adaptation parameter in the system of developing alternative energy sources. The article explores adaptation as a key parameter of the alternative energy sources development system, which ensures the effective integration of the latest technologies into the existing energy infrastructure. The challenges associated with the modernization of energy systems are analyzed, including the implementation of smart management systems and energy storage technologies that contribute to the stability of supply and optimization of resource utilization. Particular attention is paid to the role of state regulation in stimulating adaptation through legislative support for innovations, financial incentives, and the establishment of standards. The impact of globalization and digitalization, which facilitate knowledge exchange, increase competition, and introduce advanced analytical tools, significantly strengthening the system's adaptive capabilities, are considered. The main task of the article is to determine how state regulation affects the enhancement of adaptability of the alternative energy sources development system. The research methodology includes induction and deduction, synthesis and analysis, morphological analysis, as well as graphical and tabular methods for qualitative presentation of results. The conclusions emphasize that state support is a decisive factor in developing the adaptability of alternative energy sources. The research is based on an analysis of the latest scientific works and legal documents, which allows forming a comprehensive understanding of adaptation mechanisms in the context of alternative energy. The article also highlights the need for further research into international experience to improve national strategies in the renewable energy sector, which will facilitate a more effective transition to a sustainable energy system.
