Abstract

The article determined that, as of today, social inequality and economic difficulties have become a serious problem for many countries, including many European ones. The transformation of the middle class can have a significant impact on the socio-political situation, as the middle class often acts as a stabilizing factor in society. It is important to remember that much of politics and society as a whole is the result of a complex interaction of various factors, including political decisions, public opinion, cultural and historical trends. Addressing social inequality and economic hardship requires a comprehensive approach and joint efforts by governments, the public and business. It was found that Ukraine is going through an unfavorable and difficult period, which is accompanied by difficult economic reforms, corruption and political instability and huge threats to the lives and freedoms of Ukrainians. One of the key tasks at the current stage is strengthening the rule of law, fighting corruption, and creating favorable conditions for business development and economic growth. It is also important to support the social protection of the population, in particular through the development of the system of medical and educational support, raising the standard of living and equal opportunities for all citizens. Success in solving these challenges requires constant efforts, responsibility and cooperation of all public sectors. Ukraine, like other countries, faces challenges related to the crisis in the system of Western-style democracy. It has been proven that the key task for Ukraine is to strengthen democratic institutions, fight corruption and ensure social justice. This may require the introduction of reforms in the judicial and law enforcement systems, increased transparency in governance, and the involvement of citizens in decision-making. Therefore, the system of protection of social and political rights of citizens needs deep reformation. Modern politics, as before, suffers from insufficiency and imbalance in many ways and remains untouched even in the conditions of the development of the network society and digital technologies. It is substantiated that the excessive level of socio-economic inequality deprives the society of such necessary dynamics of development and renewal of the social well-being of the population. The most important problem is related to the socially unbalanced policy in the field of income and wealth distribution, it consists in the fact that the excess of social inequality has a negative impact on the dynamics of socio-political development. If inequality is outside the framework of social efficiency, it restrains the mobility of society - an important factor in its positive transformation.
