THE CONTENT OF THE FREE TRADE ZONE BETWEEN UKRAINE AND THE EU AND ITS ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT IN THE PUBLIC SPHERE

Abstract

The article examines the content of the free trade zone between Ukraine and the EU and its organizational support in the public sphere. It was noted that an important component of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union is the provisions related to the creation of a comprehensive and deep free trade zone. It was noted that the comprehensive nature of the free trade zone between Ukraine and the European Union is determined by its broad coverage of key aspects of trade relations between the parties. It is asserted that the formation of the free trade zone between Ukraine and the EU is carried out on the basis of legal documents and agreements concluded and signed between the parties. The key measures underlying the creation of a free trade zone between Ukraine and the European Union are considered. The task within the framework of the algorithm for the formation of a free trade zone is highlighted. It is argued that as a result of the implementation of measures within the free trade zone, it is expected to achieve positive consequences for Ukraine and the European Union. It is emphasized that after Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine, the European Union canceled all restrictions on the import of Ukrainian goods in June 2022. It was determined that for the further successful integration of Ukraine into the internal market of the European Union, it is important to continue in-depth cooperation in the field of trade. It has been proven that in order to improve the quality of communication with the EU, Ukraine needs to increase the representation of its interests during negotiations with European partners. It was noted that Ukraine should use its potential to diversify the economy, in particular through the profitable export of agricultural products. It is argued that the introduction of EU standards can expand the legal space for Ukraine and improve the quality of its goods and services. It is predicted that the introduction of a free trade area between Ukraine and the European Union will lead to a number of key results in the near future. It was concluded that despite the martial law in the country, Ukraine continues mutually beneficial cooperation with the European Union in the field of the free trade zone.
