The results of study based on the creation of the psychodiagnostic method «Axiological Competence Questionnaire» are presented. The method is based on the author's theoretical model of axiological competence. Axiological competence is defined as the ability to understand, value and evaluate values, to choose actions and make decisions that correspond to values, to influence one's own value orientations and behavior based on these values. The structural elements have been added to the structure of the model: competence in reflection and value analysis; competence in expressed values; competence in the implementation of values in practical activities in various areas of life; conflictological competence in inter-social conflicts on the subject of values; competence in dealing with internal conflicts in the value sphere; competence in planning and implementing strategies and specific actions for the development of the valuable sphere, valuable flexibility; tolerance and empathy for valuable differences; the ability to think critically in the value sphere. In the process of creating the methodology, an empirical factor structure of the Axiological Competence Questionnaire was obtained, which has certain differences from the developed theoretical model due to the combination of elements. It is shown that the psychometric assessment of the validity and reliability of the Questionnaire proved its high reliability and validity. The Questionnaire allows to assess axiological competence on 5 scales: value reflection, value self-realization, value harmony, value development, value tolerance, and also obtain its overall indicator. Descriptive statistics of the Axiological Competence Questionnaire for employees of the National Police of Ukraine have been established.
