Abstract

This article analyzes the concepts of self-efficacy, implicit theories of intelligence and personality as important factors in revealing the innovative potential of the individual. Theoretical information about self-efficacy, implicit theories, innovative potential of personality and features of interrelation of these phenomena are generalized, systematized and expanded. The results of an empirical study of the nature of the relationship between the features of implicit human ideas about intelligence and personality, self-efficacy, motivation to achieve, personality traits with indicators of its innovative potential. The study was conducted with the involvement of an empirical sample of students, a total of 67 people, for the operationalization of theoretical constructs and empirical testing of hypotheses used six psychodiagnostic techniques. Correlation (r-Pearson correlation coefficient), cluster (k-means method) and regression (Fisher's F-test) analyzes were used as mathematical and statistical methods of processing the research results. To predict the level of innovative potential of the individual on the basis of implicit ideas of the individual about intelligence, a correlation-regression model is built. It has been found that a high level of person`s self-efficacy and a tendency to incremental ideas about intellect can be considered as important predictors of human innovation potential. The high level of self-efficacy of the individual and the tendency to incremental ideas about intelligence and personality are positively correlated with indicators of human innovation potential.
