Abstract

The article presents theoretical and methodological analysis of the problem of using Gestalt technologies for personal psychological health restoration illustrated by an example of supervision provided to school psychologists. Methods are considered of the narrative field restoration, which identify complex life crisis situations that determine personal psychological health. The stages and features are highlighted of influence of Gestalt technologies on emotional and affective manifestations of personality, which are the basis for human psychological health. Methods of work are determined at each stage of the personal psychological health restoration. Peculiarities are revealed of changes in emotional perception of life goals and perspectives that affect sense of the personal well-being. The influence is specified of awareness and understanding of cause-and-effect relations of own personal behavior, as well as external factors, on intensification of the search for new meanings in complex life situations. The experience is generalized of carrying out supervisions for school psychologists in the intervision group of the Ukrainian Association of Psychotherapists (USP) during 2019–2021. The work is identified with the personal narrative, which provides changes in meanings, goals and emergence of more realistic expectations. Issues are identified at the stage of actualization of personal resources in overcoming contradictions in experiencing complex life situations, overcoming emotional instability, anxiety and excitement. The information presented in the article shows the importance of using Gestalt technologies in restoration of human psychological health. Individual-typological features of personality, subjective activity, motivational spheres and environment wherein person lives, are interrelated factors in the subjective well-being experience. The perspective is determined of development of the program of school psychologists’ preparation for psychological support of person in complex crisis situations.
