Abstract

The article considers the forms of psychological violence in the organizational environment: bullying, cyberbullying, bullying in the workplace (mobbing), victim flashing, harassment, stalking, outing, gaslighting. It is proved that the main danger of psychological violence is in bringing the victim to a mentally unstable state and inadequate perception of reality, even to suicide. Classifications of bullying and mobbing are given. Emphasized features of the offender’s negative actions, such as recurrence and duration, this characteristic of the offender’s negative actions arises due to the fact that, on the one hand, the offender remains interested in committing violence against the victim for a long time and, on the other hand, weaker and unable to defend himself in a bullying situation. It is substantiated that the characteristic feature of bullying is the manifestation of the offender’s proactive aggression towards the victim, ie offensive rather than defensive aggression aimed at forming a state of fear and confusion in the victim. The difference of bullying characteristics from the characteristics of other phenomena that disrupt the process of constructive communication is considered. It is substantiated that bullying differs from aggression, violence, abuse and hazing in that it has such stable characteristics as long-term repetitive nature of violent actions, the presence of stable types of subjects – abuser, victim, witness, and therefore appropriate types of deviant behavior. are realized in the course of bullying – aggressive, victim and conformist. It is noted that bullying and mobbing is a long process that can take months. The mechanism of bullying prevention is revealed – activity mediation involves determination of behavior and interpersonal interactions of group members by the content, goals and objectives of group activities. The group’s implementation of prosocial collective activity allows its members to form positive moral values, adequate self-esteem, constructive interaction skills, etc., as well as to organize cooperation of team members to achieve a common goal, which eliminates the appearance of individual and group factors in such a group.
